


Register Your Interest
- By submitting your registration to the sYnergy 2023 event (“Event”), you agree to these terms and conditions without modification.
- Registration for this Event is subject to confirmation by Yinson Holdings Berhad (“Yinson”) that will be sent to you via email. You shall only be entitled to participate in the Event as an attendee upon Yinson’s confirmation of your valid registration for this event. Yinson is entitled to deny registration without cause.
- The registration deadline for this Event is 30 May 2023 (“Deadline”). Registration received by Yinson after the Deadline (including walk-in participants) shall be considered on a case-by-case basis, subject to availability. Yinson reserves its absolute right to deny entry and participation by any individuals whose name does not appear on Yinson’s register of attendees.
- You confirm that the information you have submitted to Yinson for the purpose of registering for this Event is accurate. If there are any changes to the information provided in the registration form, you undertake to inform the Event committee of the changes via email at synergy@yinson.com.
- You have agreed and undertake to keep your event pass on you at all times during your attendance at the Event, and Yinson reserves the right to refuse entry and may require you to leave the Event venue should you fail to produce your pass when requested.
- You may not sell or transfer your event pass.
- It may be necessary for Yinson to change the Event content, timing of the programme, the speakers, the date, the venue, or other arrangements at any time prior to the Event. In that case, Yinson will, as soon as practicable, update any changes to the Event in its event microsite at www.yinson.com/synergy2023.com.my . You agree that other than the updates provided on the event microsite, Yinson shall not be obligated to inform you separately of the changes made to the Event. You will be given the opportunity to cancel your registration. Should you decide to cancel your registration on these grounds, Yinson shall not be responsible nor liable for any costs and/or expenses you may incur due to the cancellation of your registration.
- Intellectual Property
For the purposes of these Terms, “Intellectual Property Rights” are any and all rights (including without limitation copyright, trademarks, trade names, know-how, design software applications, websites, rights in databases, compilations and designs, moral rights) and prerogatives, registered or not.
You agree that all materials made available by Yinson or made available via Yinson in connection with the Event, including, without limitation, notes, records, studies, reports, brochures, drawings or other documents and tangible items including images, texts, comments, graphics, illustrations, logos, icons, Yinson’s brand and products names, are (i) the exclusive property of Yinson, and/or of its licensors and (ii) could be protected by Intellectual Property Rights. Yinson reserves all rights not expressly granted under these Terms. Except as explicitly authorized by the Yinson in writing, all materials from this Event may not be sold, licensed, rented, modified, used, distributed, copied, reproduced, transmitted, publicly displayed, publicly performed, published, adapted, edited or translated, in whole or in part by you to any third party. These Terms do not grant to you any license nor any right to use these materials made available to you except where such use is limited to the purposes of your attendance to the Event.
Except in circumstances where consent is expressly provided by Yinson, should you decide to share at the Event, notes, records, studies, reports, brochures, drawings or other documents and tangible items including (or not) Intellectual Property Rights, you are responsible to secure that you have all necessary authorizations to share such material, content and/or information during the Event. You understand and agree that Yinson is not responsible for any further use and/or disclosure of such material, content and/or information by any other participant to the Event and/or third-party outside of the Event. You also understand and agree that Yinson may use such material, content and/or information for the minutes of the Event in accordance with these Terms. - By registering and/or by participating in the Event, you acknowledge that certain sessions and/or social functions may be photographed, filmed and/or web streamed and that some of these photos and video recordings can be used for the minutes of Event/meeting, news, promotional purposes, future marketing materials, illustration, information and dissemination activities via Yinson’s own websites or inclusion on Yinson’s social media pages. Should you have any concerns about this, or do not wish to be featured in any of these materials, please inform the Event committee of the change in your preferences via email at synergy@yinson.com at any time up to the day of the Event. In the event you have notified Yinson of your preferences in accordance with the foregoing provision, please be advised that incidental inclusion of some images of yourself within any recording or photos may take place.
- By registering and/or by participating to the Event, you acknowledge that your personal data will be collected and processed by us in order to organize such Event and manage your participation, as further detailed below, which you acknowledge having read.

- Personal Data Protection Notice
This privacy notice (“Notice”) is issued by Yinson Holdings Berhad and its related and subsidiary companies (collectively “Yinson”, “we”, “us”, “our”) for the purpose of informing you how we process your personal data when you communicate and interact with us (including via our website) and/or when you provide your personal data by filling up and submitting to us forms or documents.
By doing so, you consent to the collecting, recording, holding, storing, use, transfer and processing of your personal data by us in accordance with the terms and condition (as amended by us from time to time) of this Notice.
- Personal Data We May Collect from You
Generally, personal data means any information that personally identifies you (or from which you may be identified). The type of personal data which may be processed by us may include but not limited to your name, address, designation, email address, fax number, contact details, recording of your images or photographs during any of our corporate events or third party events, recruitment information (such as employment history, education, resume or CVs when you apply job with us and work permit details), citizenship/national origin information, bank account information, and background check reports and other personal data provided by you or third parties on any subsequent occasion.
It is obligatory that you supply us the details marked with an asterisk (*) in our forms (collectively, “compulsory personal data”). If you fail to supply us with any of the compulsory personal data, we may refuse to process your personal data for any of the purposes stated below. This may result in us being unable to provide you with the services and/or products requested for and/or the termination of any arrangements/agreements with us.
- How We Collect Your Personal Data
We may collect personal data from you, your authorized representatives, third parties or from publicly available sources including but not limited to credit reporting agencies, government department or agencies, public registries, websites and publications.
- How We Use Your Personal Data
You agree that we may use your personal data as permitted by law and for the following purposes:
(a) to verify your identity;
(b) to communicate with you;
(c) to respond to your inquiries;
(d) to transact with you and/or provide services to you;
(e) to send you materials such as brochures, newsletter, articles, write-ups and marketing information;
(f) to comply with legal and/or regulatory requirements;
(g) to assist in the prevention, detection or investigation of crime or possible criminal activities or for the administration of justice;
(h) for our day-to-day operations and administrative purposes;
(I) for security and internal audit purposes including monitoring emails, mailboxes and correspondences;
(j) in our publications and materials;
(k) for such other purposes directly related to the foregoing or as may be directed or consented to by you; and
(l) for any other relevant purposes that are related to the purpose you submit your personal data to us (collectively “Purposes”).
-To Whom We May Disclose Your Personal Data
We may disclose your personal data to third parties under certain circumstances. Third parties may be as follows:
(a) any persons directed by or consented to by you;
(b) any person for the purposes of compliance with legal and regulatory requirements of Malaysia;
(c) our subsidiaries, related companies and/or affiliates;
(d) our data processors i.e. third party who we engaged to process personal data on our behalf including but not limited to archival storage, data entry service providers, website service provider, computer backup services, disaster recovery services, bank and financial institutions;
(e) third party service providers for the purposes of performing reference checks, background screening, bankruptcy searches, credit etc.; and
(f) our professional advisers including but not limited to legal advisers, tax advisers, financial advisers, auditors and insurance brokers/insurers.
We may be required to transfer your personal data outside of Malaysia for the Purposes and to such third parties stated in this Notice, and you hereby consent to such transfer. Further, the transfer of your personal data outside Malaysia would also be required if you are travelling or based outside Malaysia.
-Your Rights to Access and Correct Your Personal Data
You may request to;
(a) access your personal data; (b) correct or update your personal data; or (c) withdraw your consent or limit the processing of your personal data by submitting your written request to synergy@yinson.com
